Yes, I AM a sewer.

Though lately I haven't had much to show!

I do have some of these shorts which I call my 'panel van pants' for boys.

I love making these.

Cake Pops

Well, they are hardly Bakerella standard, but:

1. It was my first attempt;

2. I live in a hot, humid climate, and decided to make these in the middle of summer. The butter melts too quickly, the icing/frosting melts too quickly, and the chocolate does all sorts of unplanned things; and

3. I didn't bother with following a recipe because I made them on a whim.

Still delicious. Still ball shaped. Still pop-ish.

A teething child. A misbehaving child. A tired child.

But a cuddle with India improved it.
