Community

I met my neighbour today for the first time. They have lived across the road for a year. I can't believe it's been a year...it seems like they moved in just a few months ago. That means that I've been 'planning' to go and visit and introduce myself for a year. I've been too busy for a year. I've been too tired for a year. I've been too shy for a year. If I'd visited a year ago I could have had a year of tea, or dinner parties or playdates with her and her kids. A lost opportunity (they are moving house again tomorrow!) but a lesson learned.
